Coronavirus lockdown had the worst impact on migrants and needy. Migrant labourers, who worked in Delhi and Gujarat, returned to their homes in Mohammadabad village of Lakhimpur Kheri district amid crisis. They are now earning livelihood here through jobs under MGNREGA scheme. One of the workers said, “We work under MGNREGA as labourers. We were labourers outside too.”
