Meet Kathmandu’s oldest kite maker who takes deity for kite surfing
83-year-old Purna Bahadur Shrestha is known for his skill in kite making. He started making kites since he was a teenager. He made numerous types of kites using various materials but now he is focusing more on designed kites made of ‘Nepali Kagaj’. He relates using of ‘Nepali Kagaj’ to make kites with nationality and promoting the local produces.
