Mathura Vector-borne diseases claim lives of 11 children in two weeks

Mathura’s rural areas have been hit by vector-borne diseases claiming lives of 11 children and 2 youth within 15 days. The diseases have spread in around 8 villages among them are Koh and Jachonda which are most affected. The administration has come into action to restrict the outbreak. Teams from Lucknow and Delhi have reached Mathura; in the initial stages, they suspect the spread of Dengue, Squaw typhus, Malaria meningitis, Leptospirosis in the region. Locals in fear of catching the disease are deserting their homes.
