A ‘man-eater’ leopard captured by wildlife authorities in Srinagar on June 16. For the last couple of weeks, locals in Budgam were feeling unsafe due to presence of the leopard. The fear increased when the big cat killed a 4-yr-old girl on June 03 after dragging her from house in Budgam. Her mutilated body was found in a nursery the next day after several hours of search operation. The leopard has been sent to a rehabilitation centre at Dachigam National Park in Srinagar.
