Leave Ukraine by available means immediately India’s fresh advisory to citizens

Indian embassy in Kyiv issued a fresh advisory for all Indian citizens in Ukraine. Govt has asked its citizens to leave country immediately in view of escalating hostilities. Some Indian Nationals had left Ukraine pursuant to the earlier advisory. Embassy has also issued contact numbers for assistance if required to travel to border. It had issued an advisory asking Indians to leave Ukraine in view of deteriorating security situation. Russia- Ukraine war escalated after a truck exploded on the Crimea road bridge. The Crimean Bridge was opened in 2018 by Russian President Vladimir Putin. It was opened four years after Moscow annexed Crimea. It was designed to link the peninsula to Russia’s transport network.
