Actor and BJP leader Mithun Chakraborty on June 16 questioned virtually by Kolkata Police over his controversial speech during West Bengal polls. The actor is accused of inciting post-poll violence in West Bengal through his speeches. An FIR was registered in Maniktala for his speech. Chakraborty moved Calcutta high court for quashing the case against him. But the court asked him to appear for questioning through video conferencing. Many people have lost their lives in post- poll violence in West Bengal.
