Defence Expert Anil Gupta shared his views on Zakir Musa’s killing in an encounter with security forces. Praising the Indian Army, he said that killing of Zakir Musa is a great success for the Indian Army. He added that the killing of Musa is a timely and a great victory as his ‘Ansar Ghazwat-ul-Hind,’ which is an Al-Qaeda affiliate was trying to spread its activities in Kashmir with ISIS. “The killing of Zakir Musa is a great success for the Army and security forces because Musa was the head of ‘Ansar Ghazwat-ul-Hind,’ which is an Al-Qaeda affiliate. Lately, there were rumours that Al-Qaeda and ISIS are trying to spread their wings in Kashmir, therefore it’s a timely and great victory for the armed forces,” he said. Security forces have killed Ansar Ghazwat-ul-Hind chief Zakir Musa in an encounter in Kashmir’s Tral region on May 23.
