Jute mill workers face trouble amid COVID-19 lockdown in West Bengal

Due to coronavirus lockdown, jute mill workers are facing several problems. Some of the workers were seen standing outside jute mill in North 24 Parganas’ Barrackpore. One of the workers said, ‘We are facing several problems and our situation is getting worse. We donít have anything to eat and have no ration in the house.’ The state government has allowed 15% of workforce for resumption of operations in mills during lockdown.
