The Centre and Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) on Thursday made a massive announcement that India will send its first manned space mission in by 2022 when the country marks 75th year of independence.While addressing a joint press conference with and Union Minister of State for Atomic Energy and Space, Dr Jitendra Singh said, “On eve of 75th Independence anniversary of India in 2022, ISRO has resolved to send its first human Mission into space, it could be before 2022, which will have 2-3 crew members.”He further added, “It’s a purely ‘Make in India’ mission.” To monitor India’s ambitious mission Gaganyaan National Advisory Council has been formed.
