Indian Army saved a girl from drowning in Jammu and Kashmir’s Chenab River. The incident took place in Akhnoor district of J&K. Explaining the incident, the girl said that she was clicking pictures at the Chenab River when her foot slipped. Thanking the Army, she said, “I had gone to visit the Chenab River, and while taking pictures my foot slipped and I tripped inside the river. Army saved me and I am thankful to them. May god bless them with long age because I was able to successfully reach home alive.” Victim’s family also thanked the Army for safely rescuing their daughter. “I am thankful to the Army that they saved my daughter and took her to the hospital. I am thankful to god and the Army personnel,” said victim’s father.
