Maharashtra Chief Minister and Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray on March 07 said that Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and ‘Hindutva’ are two different things, and he has only left the former. “I left BJP, not ‘Hindutva’. BJP and ‘Hindutva’ are two different things,” said Thackeray while talking to media in Ayodhya where he announced his offer to donate Rs 1 crore for the construction of Ram temple in Ayodhya. Shiv Sena broke ties with the BJP after Maharashtra Assembly polls in late 2019 over the post of Chief Minister.
