I am no subordinate to state govt: WB Governor lashes out after being denied permission to meet officials

Governor of West Bengal Jagdeep Dhankhar tirade his guns at the state government after his meeting with state officials was cancelled citing the absence of permission from the state government. Dhankhar said, “Is it an appropriate step to be taken, that when the government of that state wants to meet someone there has to be censorship? There has to be approved? There is permission from the state government? I am no subordinate to the state government.” Jagdeep Dhankhar had called for a meeting on October 22 with state officials such as Member of Parliaments (MP) and District Magistrate (DM). His meeting could not be arranged without the permission of the state government.
