Telukunta Virat Chandra, a 9-year-old boy was awarded with PM Bal Puraskar in Sports on January 25 in Hyderabad for scaling Mt Kilimanjaro (5,895 m high) last year in March 2021. "I used to run for 6 to 7 kms every day, did sit-ups, Suryanamaskar, and meditation. It was very cold there, but we focussed on summit point despite body aches" Virat Chandra said while speaking to ANI.
