On June 21 Union Home Minister Amit Shah visited Pandit Deendayal vaccination centre in Ahmedabad. His visited the vaccination centre with an aim to encouraging people to become part of the Gujarat government's mega inoculation drive. During the media briefing, he said, “Under PM Modi's leadership, a new stage in fight against corona begins today. The PM had made an important decision that from June 21. People who are 18 yrs of age and above will be vaccinated free of cost by Central Govt and the process of vaccination will be speed up.”
