SAD leader Manjinder Singh Sirsa held a press conference on June 28 over forceful religion conversion of a Sikh girl in J&K. Yesterday, he met with J&K LG Manoj Sinha and today had a conversation with Home Minister Amit Shah to discuss the issue. He said that during the Nikah, they didn’t allowed girl parents to stand with her and district judge didn’t take the satisfying action. Further he added, “Our highest temporal authority writes a letter to the LG of J&K. In which they demanded our daughter back and demanded anti-conversion law. HM Amit Shah told us that he has been in touch with the Governor since yesterday & monitoring the entire situation. He has assured us that stringent action will be taken. Nobody will be spared. Our Sikh delegation will meet him in Delhi.”
