Hexacopter shot down 6 km inside Indian border 5 kg explosives recovered in JK Jammu ADGP

A drone shot down around 6 kilometres inside the Indian border in the Kanachak area of J&K. It has been identified as a Hexacopter. Jammu Additional Director General of Police Mukesh Singh said, “We had deployed team near Akhnoor based on specific info. Around 1am, a drone was detected. When it was lowered to drop payload, police team started firing & shot it down. Payload weighing around 5 kg was IED in an almost prepared condition.” “Payload is dropped by using a string from drones. In this incident, it was found that string with a similar pattern was used to drop bomb crater at the airport. This confirmed that it was dropped using a drone,” he said.
