Focus will be on basic policing: Delhi CP Rakesh Asthana

Rakesh Asthana took charge as Delhi Police Commissioner on July 28. After taking the charge, Asthana said that his focus will be on basic policing. If we do this, there would a sense of satisfaction among the public and law & order situation can be maintained. We will handle specialized problems as per SOP,” said Police Commissioner Asthana. Asthana took charge from Balaji Srivastava. Asthana has also served as director general of Border Security Force (BSF) and special CBI director.
