Few days left for the famous Rath Yatra of Lord Jagannath, final touches are being given to the preparations for the grand event in Odisha’s Puri. Every year, the Jagannath Rath Yatra is witnessed by lakhs of devotees from all corners of the world. Three chariots have already been constructed for the deities- Lord Balabhadra, Lord Jagannath and Devi Subhadra. Traditional artists are painting fresh and glowing colours on different idols. While speaking to ANI, a Painter said, “We start the works 15 to 20 days before and gives the final touch to Rath Yatra before 1 to 2 days. Around 40 to 50 artists work for this Yatra.” This year, the annual Rath Yatra of Lord Jagannath, Devi Subhadra and Lord Balabhadra will be celebrated on July 4.
