Farmers in Ludhiana struggle due to lack of labourers

Farmers in Ludhiana are struggling to reap harvest due to lack of labourers amid lockdown. Migrant labourers in massive numbers had left parts of North India to return to their villages. “Many labourers have gone home, some are scared to come to work due to COVID-19 and curfew. I urge the government to help us," said a farmer.
