With an aim to fortify the bond of love and communal harmony among the people of Jammu & Kashmir, an Ekta Sammelan or a peace conference was organized by the army in the Poonch district. During the event, representatives of different religious communities came together on a single platform and shared their views on national integration, humanity and brotherhood. Representatives discussed the role of religion in the betterment of society and how it can build a strong connection among people of different faiths. Praising this profound act of army, participants said that such programmes should be organised on a regular basis and they play a significant role in helping people to know about each other’s religion. These events not only spread a message of religious coexistence but also pave a way for building a peaceful and harmonious society.
