Devotees observe ‘Chhath Puja’ with fervour in Patna

Devotees in Patna gathered to perform rituals during the ongoing ‘Chhath Puja’. The four-day Chhath festival began on October 31. On the last two days, devotees perform rituals and offer evening and morning 'arghyas' (offerings) to ‘Sun God’ by taking a dip in a river or other water bodies. The age-old festival is celebrated mostly by people from Bihar and eastern Uttar Pradesh. While speaking to ANI, a devotee said, “This is considered as one of the main prayers and all the wishes come true.”
