Devotees demand special train for Jammu-Delhi after Amarnath Yatra disrupted citing terror threats

Amarnath Yatra has been suspended citing terror threats on Friday. Government asked tourists and devotees to leave Kashmir immediately due to security reasons. Several devotees demanded that special train should run from Jammu to Delhi in order to make the journey comfortable and hurdle free. Yesterday, an order was issued by Principal Secretary advising the tourists and Amarnath pilgrims in the state to curtail their stay in the Valley immediately and take necessary measures to return as soon as possible. By August 02, around 704 devotees (596 via Baltal axis and 108 via Pahalgam axis) have completed the pilgrimage to the holy shrine.
