Air quality in the national capital is still in the 'very poor' category, even though stubble burning in neighbouring states has come down substantially. In Airport terminal 3, the Air Quality Index (AQI) was recorded 312 (very poor), on Mathura road 326, according to the SAFAR-India website. Delhi has recorded ‘very poor’ air quality based on monitoring stations here. “Pollution is always an issue for Delhiites. As a citizen, we need to create less pollution and try to avoid personal vehicles and use public transports,” a local said.
