Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) senior leader Vijay Goel left from his house in an odd-numbered car in order to protest against the odd-even scheme in the national capital on November 04. Later, he has been issued a challan for violation of the odd-even scheme. The odd-even scheme is currently in operation in Delhi. In order to curb air pollution, the Arvind Kejriwal led-government has announced the implementation of the odd-even scheme from November 04-15. While speaking to media, Vijay Goel said, “This scheme is just a gimmick, they (Delhi Government) themselves say pollution is due to stubble burning and then how does this scheme help? I am ready to pay the fine for violation.”
