Dam in Gujarat's Jamnagar overflows after monsoon rains intensify
Ranjit Sagar Dam in Gujarat's Jamnagar overflowed amid heavy rains in the region. The over flowed water entered in low-line areas and disrupted the daily lives of the people. People living in Ghanchi ni Khadki area have been shifted to safe location as entered their houses. The over flowed water created flood like situation in many areas. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) said the monsoon remains and heavy to very heavy rainfall is likely in parts of Gujarat in the next three days.
