Adesh, a wanted criminal with a bounty of Rs 1 lakh on his head, was killed in an encounter by the Uttar Pradesh Police in Muzaffarnagar. Muzaffarnagar SSP Sudhir Singh said the deceased criminal was a very dangerous history-sheeter as he had over three dozen cases of murder, robbery being registered against him. Police recovered one pistol and two motorcycles from him. In another incident, two criminals, who were carrying bounties of Rs 25,000 each on their heads, were arrested in Muzaffarnagar after being injured in separate encounters.
