COVID Shops shut streets remain deserted in Srinagar amid lockdown

To curb the ongoing COVID second wave, Jammu and Kashmir is in a lockdown till May 24. Due to it, Srinagar wore a deserted look. The streets were empty, and all shops and business establishments were shut as well. Police personnel are on strict duty to ensure implementation of lockdown in the UT. J&K currently has 50,852 active COVID cases, and has seen over 3,222 deaths so far.
