Covid-19 UK becomes first nation to approve Omicron vaccine

UK has become the first nation to approve a vaccine that targets Omicron variant .The country was the first to approve a Covid-19 vaccine in late 2020. It has now become the first to give a green flag to a shot that targets the omicron variant. Hence the dual vaccine will now be able to tackle both the original Covid variant the newer Omicron variant. The approved 'bivalent' vaccine has been made by the pharmaceutical company, 'Moderna'.
