The Health and Family Welfare Department of Tamil Nadu sprayed disinfectants around state assembly on March 23. Disinfectants were sprayed during assembly session to tackle COVID-19 outbreak. Lockdown has been imposed in Tamil Nadu till March 31 in the backdrop of coronavirus outbreak. The order will come into effect from March 24 at 06:00 am. There are total 12 positive cases of coronavirus in Tamil Nadu so far. According to Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), the total number of coronavirus positive cases rose to 471 in India including foreign nationals.
