COVID-19 Locals violate social distancing norms at vegetable market in Mumbai

Heavy crowd was seen at a vegetable market in Mumbai on April 08 amid nationwide lockdown in the wake of coronavirus pandemic. Locals were seen buying essential commodities at a vegetable market in Mumbai’s Byculla vegetable market. Mumbaikars were seen violating norms of social distancing while purchasing vegetables and fruits. There are total 972 confirmed cases of coronavirus in Maharashtra including 48 deaths and 56 cured. According to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, the total number of COVID-19 active cases rose to 4312 in India and 124 deaths.
