Police is working for social welfare as the country fights against coronavirus pandemic. They distributed food, face masks and soap to poor people in Chhattisgarh’s Bilaspur as their livelihood is hampered due to nation-wide lockdown. Police also gave them lessons on social distancing and self isolation. Nation-wide lockdown has affected the livelihood of unorganised sector. Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced a 21-day lockdown in the entire country effective from midnight to deal with the spread of coronavirus on March 24, saying that social distancing is the only option to deal with the disease, which spreads rapidly.
