Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) national general secretary accused the Congress and Jammu & Kashmir National Conference (JKNC) of sowing the seeds of terrorism in Kashmir and added the situation was exploited by Pakistan. Ram Madhav said, “BJP – PDP (Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Democratic Party) alliance was in power for 2.5 years, it's Congress which through its alliances or through its proxies ruled states for decades and it was they who were responsible for every trouble you see in Kashmir today.”
