Chhattisgarh’s Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel participated in Hareli festival (traditional festival for sowing) celebrations in Raipur on Thursday. This is the first time Chhattisgarh is celebrating Hareli festival. Chief Minister actively took part in the traditions. Several cabinet ministers and MLAs also joined the celebrations. Bhupesh Government has already declared holiday on the festival day. In spite of the demand, the previous BJP government did not declare this day as a holiday. Since the formation of Chhattisgarh, this festival has not been celebrated at such a large scale till date.
