Speaking to ANI, Basavaraj Bommai, Karnataka Home Minister informed that the ruckus was created in the state by the presence of people from neighbouring state, however, the situation is under control today. “Yesterday, a lot of people had come from neighbouring state and lot of violence has been created because of their presence. Today situation is peaceful, it is under control. We are in talks with the people from the minority community. Journalists have not been arrested, they had come from Kerala, they have been sent back,” said Bommai.
