Busts of Bhagat Singh, SC Bose, Veer Savarkar installed in DU
The busts of Bhagat Singh, Subhas Chandra Bose and Veer Savarkar were installed outside Delhi University’s Faculty of Arts. “There is a cellar on campus, where Bhagat Singh was kept during the trial and it was not made public, so we have decided to erect the pillar as they have made great contributions in the freedom struggle. Youth should take inspiration from them," said Delhi University Students’ Union (DUSU) president and ABVP leader Shakti Singh.
