BS Yediyurappa took oath as Chief Minister of Karnataka today. He reached Raj Bhavan in Bengaluru before taking his oath as CM of the state. BS Yediyurappa also offered prayers at Kadu Malleshwara temple in Bengaluru before taking the oath. Karnataka BJP General Secretary Shobha Karandlaje, Jagadish Shettar and several other leaders were also present while he took the oath. Earlier, the Congress-JD(S) government failed the floor test in Karnataka Assembly on July 23 where the ruling coalition got only 99 votes against 105 of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the 224-member house.
