Bread seller introduces ‘pick and pay’ service during lockdown

With an initiative to support the public and also to maintain social distancing norms during the sale of bread, a bread seller in Coimbatore introduced a pick and pay service during lockdown. The bread seller has kept the breads on a table and a cash tray next to it. People come make the purchase on their own and leave. During the purchase and while standing in the queue, proper social distancing measures are practiced. The initiative has evoked good response from the locals in the area.
