A mass rally was organised by the BJP to support Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) in Assam's Morigaon on December 27. BJP workers led by Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal and State Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma took out the four-km rally. The new Citizenship Act gives Indian citizenship to non-Muslim immigrants from three neighbouring countries i.e., Pakistan, Afghanistan and Bangladesh.
