Several villages in Bihar’s Darbhanga have been flooded following incessant downpour. Residents of several villages have been forced to set up temporary shelters on National Highway 57 after flood water entered their houses and farms. Locals complained of not receiving any monetary help from the state government and are facing hardships due to floods. Locals of a flood-affected village in Bihar’s Darbhanga said, "Our houses are flooded with water, and we don't have food to eat. We are yet to receive any help from the government.
