The air quality of Delhi-National Capital Region (NCR) took a major hit due to a combination of stubble burning, firecracker emissions and unfavourable meteorological conditions in past few weeks. A thick layer of smog continued to cover the sky in the NCR region on November 05. Several locals were seen doing exercises wearing masks in Uttar Pradesh’s Ghaziabad on November 05. People were doing exercise in Indirapuram area of Ghaziabad. A public health emergency has been declared in the Delhi-NCR region due to rising pollution.
