Several apple orchards in Jammu and Kashmir's Pulwama district were damaged due to heavy snowfall in south Kashmir area of the valley. A team has been constituted to assess the damage. Similarly, apple orchards in Shopian district have also been damaged severely due to heavy snowfall. While speaking to ANI, Chief Horticulture Officer of Pulwama district, RK Kotwal said, "We have constituted a team to assess the damage and we will submit a report to government as soon as possible to provide relief to farmers."
