Amid surge in coronavirus cases Pune increases pace of COVID vaccination
Amid rising cases of COVID-19 in Pune, the district administration has decided to increase the pace of vaccination in the city. Five government-run hospitals have been granted the permission to operate 24*7. Kamla Nehru Hospital which had started vaccination with merely 200 vaccinations per day is now vaccinating around 750-800 people. Pune reported 6,432 fresh COVID-19 cases, 2,808 recoveries, and 42 deaths on March 25.
