Air Chief Marshal Birender Singh Dhanoa remembered Squadron leader Ajay Ahuja who lost his life in action during operation Safed Sagar in the Kargil War in 1999. While speaking to ANI, Dhanoa said, “We have a feeling of nostalgia. We remember him, we remember Ajay Ahuja. He was my fight commander and not only that this was his third posting with me. We had served together. So every year, we pay homage to him.” Earlier, he led a 'Missing Man' formation flypast of MiG-21 aircraft on Monday morning to pay his tribute to Squadron leader Ajay Ahuja.
