Ahead of Punjab polls, CM Kejriwal promises free electricity, bill waiver

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on June 29 promised that Aam Aadmi Party (AAM) party will provide 300 units of free electricity to every family and a waiver of previous bills if AAP wins Punjab polls next year. CM Kejriwal said, “When we fought polls for the 1st time in Delhi in 2013, people used to get absurd electricity bills. The government was colluding with electricity companies, just like Punjab. Today there is 24 hour electricity in Delhi at a very low rate. We have to do this in Punjab.AAP will provide 300 units of free electricity to every family.”
