Union Minister of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Prakash Javadekar attended World Sustainable Development Summit on June 04 where he highlighted the importance of water. He said, "Water is scarce resource and we must use it judiciously, without that sustainability cannot be achieved. Now, PM Modi has taken a historical decision and in last two and a half years, 4 crore 50 lakh houses are provided with tap water and remaining will be provided in next three years. In domestic, there has to two piping to save water."
