NITI Aayog Member of Health Dr VK Paul on July 16 quoted a latest study that shows that two doses of vaccine were successful in preventing 95% of deaths due to COVID-19 during the second wave of pandemic. “One dose of vaccine was able to reduce the mortality rate by 82%.
