11 Congress-JDS MLAs resign from legislator post in Karnataka

Soon after arriving at the Karnataka Assembly Speaker office in Bengaluru, all the 11 visiting MLAs of ruling Congress-JD(S) coalition submitted their resignations as legislators. Three of the MLAs, including Ramalinga Reddy who beforehand had told media about his resignation, left the office with Congress strategist and state Irrigation Minister, DK Shivakumar. The resignations, however, have not been approved yet as Speaker Ramesh Kumar was not present in the office.
