A woman has been allegedly raped in Balrampur by a policeman, a police officer said on Thursday.

Superintendent of Police, BD Shukla said the woman lodged a complaint yesterday that incharge of police outpost, Sub-inspector Mahendra Yadav had raped her.

He said that a case had been lodged against Yadav, and he has been suspended.
