WMS Pariat to be new Meghalaya chief secretary from November 1

Official sources said Pariat, a 1977 batch IAS officer, will take over charge from Ranjan Chatterjee on November 1. The sources said that Chatterjee had expressed his desire to take up his new assignment as a consultant in the Planning Commission.
