The deceased's mother Aparna alleged in her complaint that Hazra returned home and fell ill that night. He was given medicines but when his condition did not improve he was taken to Katwa sub-divisional hospital on Sunday evening, where doctors declared him brought dead. She said the boy had been injured by the teacher identified as Shristi Hazral. He bore injury marks throughout his body including his private parts.

The teacher also offered the family land and Rs 30000 to hush up the incident, the complaint said. The teacher is, however, absconding since the incident and efforts are on to nab him, the SP added.
